Badeah Husain
Mental Health Counseling Intern
Badeah is a Mental Health Counseling Intern, Certified Life Coach, and former School Counselor with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves without judgment.
Badeah draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approaches. She helps clients explore how their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, past experiences, and relationships may influence the challenges they are experiencing today. She believes that developing a better understanding of yourself can be an important part of creating meaningful and lasting change.
With her background in school counseling, Badeah has a special interest in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, self-esteem concerns, school-related stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She is also passionate about supporting adults and women navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, personal growth, and major life changes.
Her experience as a Certified Life Coach also influences her strengths-based approach, helping adult clients identify their goals, recognize their strengths, and take realistic steps toward the changes they want to make.
Badeah believes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. She strives to meet clients where they are while providing a culturally sensitive and individualized space where they can feel heard, supported, and empowered.
