Tuba Habib is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic privilege (LMHC-D), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and CASAC-T certification. She is the founder of House of Wellness Mental Health Counseling, PLLC and provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy to children, adolescents, teens, college-aged adults, and adults across New York and New Jersey through telehealth services.
Tuba is also a school counselor and specializes in supporting youth, young adults, high-stress professionals, and immigrant communities navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and academic, professional, or social stress. She has extensive experience working with diverse and immigrant populations, helping clients navigate cultural identity, family dynamics, acculturation stress, and intergenerational challenges. She is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, develop coping skills, and improve emotional well-being through compassionate, client-centered care.
She specializes in trauma treatment using Brainspotting, a powerful body-based therapeutic approach that helps clients process and release unresolved emotional experiences stored in the nervous system. Her work integrates evidence-based modalities with a holistic and collaborative approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.
In addition to individual therapy, Tuba facilitates transformative group experiences focused on emotional regulation, connection, and personal growth, fostering a community-centered approach to healing beyond traditional therapy settings.
