Xingran Wang
Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit
Xingran works with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. She is especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients and creating an affirming space where clients can feel seen, respected, and understood. Her approach to therapy is warm and collaborative, rooted in humanistic and relational perspectives while also drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
She believes that healing often happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. She works alongside clients to explore their emotions, make sense of their experiences, and better understand patterns in how they connect with others.
When appropriate, she also integrates EMDR to help clients process difficult or distressing experiences that may continue to shape how they feel, think, and relate to the world. Xingran believes that clients do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether someone is facing a specific challenge or simply feels that something is not quite right, she strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where every thought, feeling, and question is welcome.
Together, she hopes to help clients better understand themselves, reconnect with their own strengths and motivation, and move toward the person they want to become.
Xingran provides therapy in both English and Mandarin.
